Since 1990 global CO₂ emissions increased by over 60%. The world needs to reverse this trend and reduce CO₂ emissions each year by 1 billion metric tons. 1 billion is also expressed as 10⁹_. Naked Energy. An amazing British success story

Our first project was Naked Energy, a British renewable energy design company that combines the best of solar thermal with the best of solar PV to create a hybrid product – Virtu^PVT.  The invention outperforms conventional solar thermal and PV panels by harvesting solar energy at up to 75% efficiency. For reference, conventional solar PV is just over 20% efficient.  Heat accounts for over 50% of global energy use.  The aim of the business is to decarbonise heat in multiple use cases, thereby reducing the requirement for gas and electricity.  Initial R&D is now complete and Naked Energy is scaling its business internationally by selling its certified products through multiple partnership channels. A manufacturing agreement has just been signed in the US.

10POWER9 helped Naked Energy complete its first funding round. We are now working towards future investment to help scale up manufacture and distribution.

Despite the problems created by the pandemic, Naked Energy succeeded in meeting its development targets from the funds released by that round and have progressed to global certification, economy of scale manufacture, distribution and a whole slate of major new customers.
